Wow! What an impressive project! I love the thought that the DQ was so much bigger than the rest of the buildings! How funny!
I can't wait to see how well you do at the fair! I entered my first quilt last year. No ribbons, but some nice comments. I did better with my daughter's Halloween costume. I'll try it again when I get better at the actual quilting part. Good luck!
I used a plat book, google maps, experience and several road trips escorted by DH so I could take notes. The plat book shows how the acreage is divided, where homes, roads and creeks are. I live in two places in the township so some is from that. It was a fun project.
