Boy does that look familiar! I have the neatest tool for cutting through the 'birds nest' without cutting the fabric! It kind of looks like a dental tool but it's not. It's a crescent shaped, very thin, razor sharp, cutter that slides under the fabric. I'll post a picture of it next time I'm at work, which will be Monday. In the meantime - tweezers, scissors, and patience! Good luck!
