This empty box had been sitting in a drawer forever. I thought there might be jewelry in it. But no, just a lonely quarter.
After mixing the flour and water I cut bits from old quilt magazines and dragged them through the mixture.
It still needs to be sealed but that will have to wait for another day as it will require a trip to the store. The blizzard is raging.... I won't be going anywhere for a day or two!
Look at all those pretty colors!
Are you snowbound too? Check out the next challenge and join us! I'm learning by doing and having fun too.

....yummy!
That's cute! And look at all those colorful bobbins! Stay warm up there. Hope y'all can get out soon.
Cute bobbin box!
OK..I'm yelling "Uncle" to stop the snow! I'm loving the beauty of it, but my body is aching from all of the shoveling. I went out every 3-4 inches to keep up with it. I have no idea how much we got last night, but there is no evidence that my walk and driveway ever saw a snow shovel.
Yes.....winter is still my favorite season.....but enough is enough!
Have a safe, snuggly day!
What a cute idea and your box looks great with all those colorful bobbins inside .We are also going to get that large storm , it is moving up from the US and will hit us hard this afternoon and overnight , I don't mind the snow but hope we do maintain power ;-0 Stay safe and warm.
