Miniature Quilt - Handquilted .... (sort of)

It's finished. And I love it.

But to say it's handquilted is just technically correct.  One little square around the center and one square along the border.  Stitched in the ditch.  I'll try hand quilting again but that's all I could handle on this one.  Baby steps.

It does qualify for entry in the fair... the class description is "Miniature Quilt, Handquilted....must be less than 15" square."

What a sweet quilt! I like the fabric choices.

You're brave to hand quilt. I'm not confident enough for the machine stuff yet... Hand quilting is a way off for me.

I hope it wins!

Love the quilt. It reminds me of spring. Hope you do well in the competition.

I love that little quilt and I love hand-quilting. I find it very relaxing, although I only do it on small pieces and wall-hangings...not on anything the size of a throw or bed quilt.

I love it too! Congrats on finishing it and not just putting it aside. It looks great!

I recently made a 12" x 12" and entered it in a table runner contest, but didn't win :( boo hoo, maybe next time!
