gLove Me. gLove Me Not.

My gardening gloves finally wore out... there are a couple holes in the fingers.  I bought a new pair to keep my hands and nails clean.  After a couple hours weeding and planting I still didn't have dirt on my hands or under my nails but....
I had teal-colored hands!!!  And it didn't wash off!!!
Finally, after LOTS of scrubbing, most of it is gone but my thumb is still green and there's a bit of color left here and there.  I'm not sure I'll be wearing gloves again.

My new ones make my hands purple....do they not realize that we might sweat while we are working?!

I found some gloves that are grippy like quilting gloves. Bought them at the co-op. But since I don't garden, I use them for quilting!

One lady I know swears by Grabaroos.

I love to wear Foxgloves in the garden - form fitting, comfortable, tough and won't satin your hands like cheap gloves.

I had the same thing happen to me , I rarely use gloves now but when I think of it I have a pair of white leather ones ,strange color for gardening I suppose but the dye doesn't run ;-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!! It's been on hold a bit lately while I've been in my funk, lol. I am 41 and have a 6 month old that just wears me out!
I chuckled about your profile...I am a wife, mom, (old enough to be a grandmom to this baby),quilter, computer time waster, blogger, can't have a garden, and used to be a horse person too!!
Are you entering projects into project quilting?

LOL, never mind the last sentence in my last post. I'd already voted for you earlier. I love how you really thought it out and made it work upside down, etc. :) I will be looking forward to what you come up with this week!
