It's raining! Finally! We sure needed it. A few days from now we may be saying "when is it ever going to stop?!" but for now, we're happy to see the rain. It's been quite a while. The grass is brown. The creeks are low. It's hard to believe these same creeks were overflowing their banks not so many months ago.

What a great shot. Is that near you? We are really brown here. Some people call it the rolling golden hills of California. But alas it isn't green which is a more refreshing color. All of the vineyards on the hills in the last years bring green to the area.Actually the small mountain that I see out my window is green. When Pen comes home I will have here take a picture and see if I can send it in the email. Love, Pat
