Isn't it CUTE?! I love the way it turned out. This is the first time I've used a charm pack. A Birdie by Me & My Sister for Moda charm pack (for just $8.00) plus a yard of white and it made a 39" x 39" quilt. Every bit of the charm pack got used. I think I need to figure out how to quilt birds for this one.
This is my "design" work (play!) . . .

That is nice. I like the colors and the way you did the border. Birds would be neat quilted on there. Go for it!
How adorable! I just bought this charm pack. I wanted to make a quilt for the new "big sister to be" to open when I gave the new baby his quilt. This is a prefect pattern. Did you design this or is this a published pattern? It looks great! Birdies and flowers would be a cute quilting pattern for this.
Looks great...uh at 1007am you posted the uncut charm pack......at 913pm THE SAME DAY you posted the finished top. Did you do this all in one day?????????
Thanks y'all. Cathy, I got out my crayons and played 'til I found a pattern I liked. I changed a thing or two as I sewed. Karen, I posted the uncut when I had already spent a day playing with it. But once I got started I couldn't stop! Couldn't wait to see the finished top.
wow!!ur fast....would love to see what u did with crayon and paper.
That is absolutely adorable! Love it!
I wouldn't have guessed you used a charm pack. What a gorgeous quilt! I love charm packs!
Thanks for sharing & posting your design process! Again, it turned out fantastic. All of that in one day, I am impressed. I can't wait until my charm gets here to play with it!

What a cute little quilt! You've created such a pretty design-- and the fabrics just work so beautifully in it! Congrats!
