This is why I don't bake Christmas Cookies

I just can't roll them out.  Either it's too cold and hard, or too soft and sticky. Too much flour on the rolling surface, or not enough.  I tried powdered sugar too instead of flour... no better.  It's just not worth it!!!

Now to find another kind of cookie to make with the dough before I nibble on it until it is gone.

Just a thought Kathleen but if you try these again use less flour and put the dough in the fridge for an hour or so and it might make a difference in the rolled process .I am sure they would work fine to just drop them or roll them up into a walnut size and press them down with a glass or whatever ,even a fork. Good luck and I am sure they will taste delicious . Merry Christmas .

I love cookie dough. I love sugar cookies. I use one of the recipes out of the Betty Crocker cook book, it has always turned out for me.

I have trouble with rolled cookies, too. So we just skip the rolled cookies when we do our Christmas cookie baking. ;-)

Wishing you and yours a blessed Christmas.
