Whole quilts are beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, pretty, cute.... all kinds of wonderful things. But it is so pleasing to work with all the pieces too. They look so pretty.
I really want to see this one finished but all the little teacups that need to be made for the borders seem daunting. I'll probably tackle those some day when I'm putting off a bigger task.
This On Point BOM is so close to being finished. I wouldn't have started this one if I had seen all the cutting instructions but I'm so glad I did it. I learned some things (seems I learn something with every project) and I stretched myself a bit. The fabric choices are so pretty (I can't take credit - Sandy at the LQS did all that, and she does a great job). Hopefully this one will wind up on a bed in one of the guest rooms, if I can make the borders a bit larger without ruining the whole look of the quilt.
Even the little piles from trimming look pretty. This last one is a sneak peak for someone.... I wonder if they will recognize it from the colors.
But maybe if I spent less time admiring the fabrics and more time sewing I could enjoy the whole quilt a whole lot sooner!

That BOM quilt will be stunning! Can't wait to see it all put together.
The fabrics in your tea cup blocks are so nice. I hope you can get them all finished soon. Keep plugging away at them.
Hi Kathleen,
Thank you for visiting me and leaving the kind comment. You have such a lovely blog - your work is beautiful. Do you mind telling me what pattern you are using for those teapot blocks? Also, do you mind me adding you to my blogroll?
Wow, the tea pots are so cute and the BOM is turning out beautiful! Both are going to be great when they come together, but look wonderous now!
I don't think finishing a quilt "quickly" is the point of quilting. ;-)
All the quilts look beautiful!!!!
Love ur new blog layout...especially the header! That quilt is so very beautiful. I hope the recipient is enjoying it.
Kathleen - the quilt in your header is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
Hahaha, Kathleen, now that you mentioned it.... I recall I did take out that sampler quite a bit yesterday and looked at it! :)
Thanks for your kind words on my finish.
I love the teacups! Where did you find them!?
Wow; that On Point BOM is stunning! I'd be tempted to frame the pieced squares, hang 'em on the wall, and call 'em art! You did a beautiful job with them. :)
I kinda have been expecting this in a way...
But I reali dun think da world is going to end...start a new era maybe but the world is not ending.
That's not gonna happen till a thousand years later! Ok, I'm not sure bout that either but that's not the point! The world's not gonna end! Full stop!
