No Sew Block Swap ... Fun, Fun, Fun

Two groups of Red, White & Blue and four groups of Pink, Green & White will be the sum of the No Sew Block SwapEntry to swap is now closed. Thanks to all of you who have also posted on your blogs the interest was fast and furious; the groups filled quickly. I plan to do this again in a couple months so if you have fun this time you can do it again. If you didn't find out about it soon enough you can try it next time.

It's been fun discovering new blogs. I've been to all of them, but I only had time to peek - I need / want to go back and explore more! Some swappers have been blogging for a long time and have so much beautiful, interesting content on their blogs. Some are new to blogging or were busier in real life than in blogland but hopefully they'll blog about the quilt that comes of this swap and we'll get to see pictures!

When you have time be sure to visit everyone's site. Such a cross section! From all over - east to west, north to south, country, city, Canada, UK, Germany. We have all ages and stages of life....Grandmas, Moms, and People-That-Still-Own-Their-Own-Life*, pet owners and People-That-Still-Own-Their-Own-Life*. We have experienced quilters and newbies. Thrifty people, creative people, business people, cooks, bakers, (I haven't seen a candlestick maker yet but wouldn't be surprised!) knitters, collectors, a minister, world travelers and RV travelers. One swapper runs a beautiful bed and breakfast (it's perfect for quilt retreats!!). One swapper sells beautiful quilting fabric at great prices AND has sales. One swapper sews LOTS of quillows and "makes" her husband help.  More than one has an etsy shop. . . .

Enough!  Check them out.  I'm going to stop writing and do just that.

* yes, I know it just seems that way to us pet-owners and moms & grandmas.... kind of like when we were kids it seemed like the adults ran everything and had all the fun!

Put me down for the Lovers Knot in my Pink/green group. Looks easy enough that I wont' mess it up, but challenging enough that I can have fun...

I can't wait!

Karen, I couldn't get in on this block swap because I have a lot going on right now but would you put me on the list for the next one? I am glad it is going so well.

...so it looks like any green and any pink is the clear winner for the swap....especially since I voted 4 times for the pastels...what? I'm from Chicago, you know...vote early vote often, right? ;)

I shall now punish myself by going to my room......where all my stuff is;)
